Growing Cents of Style was started in Barrington in the Fall of 2006 by Jenny & Karyn. Their mission is to offer other mothers a way to earn some extra money for their families and to help shoppers find the children's clothing they desire most at a fraction of the cost. |

In April 2009, 5 year old Bridget was diagnosed with Batten's Disease.
Over time, children affected by Batten's suffer mental impairment,
worsening seizures, and progressive loss of sight and motor skills.
Eventually children become blind, bedridden and are unable to communicate.
